I live in – and LOVE – New York City! It’s a little loud and lots of fun, like me. And it provides me endless opportunities to hone my craft. As a photographer, I love to capture the unseen, to create photographs of people’s inner worlds – people how they really are, not how they’re “supposed to be.”
I believe in honest photography. I want to tell your story authentically and beautifully. Why work from a canned shot list when you can have photos that tell a tale that is yours and yours alone? Overly posed photos are not my favorite and I love photographing people in places that are meaningful to them. So let’s have an adventure together and make some magical moments of you! I am available for travel worldwide.
I’m very relaxed and open, very emphatic to who people are, how they feel in front of the camera. I love to make people enjoy being photographed. I love to make my subjects feel like they’re just hanging around with their best friend. The result is often a picture of the beauty I and others see in you, not a record of your fears and discomfort with the photographic process – the lights, the backdrop, this person telling you to smile and it feels so fake. My favorite days are spent photographing clients, and delivering jaw dropping images. When I’m not photographing, you can find me at the 14th street greenmarket in New York City adding more houseplants to my collection.
