Hi, I’m Donna. Welcome to DonnaShoots!

I live in – and LOVE – New York City! It’s a little loud and lots of fun, like me. And it provides me endless opportunities to hone my craft. As a photographer, I love to capture the unseen, to create photographs of people’s inner worlds – people how they really are, not how they’re “supposed to be.”

I’m very relaxed and open, very emphatic to who people are, how they feel in front of the camera. I love to make people enjoy being photographed. I love to make my subjects feel like they’re just hanging around with their best friend. The result is often a picture of the beauty I and others see in you, not a record of your fears and discomfort with the photographic process – the lights, the backdrop, this person telling you to smile and it feels so fake. I could go on and on about how much I love photography and connecting with good people through my art, but these words will probably not get you to schedule your session with me.
